1970 Flower of the Month Collection - $8.25

I love the purple-pinky-blue colors of the Michaelmas Daisies having been touched by the first chill of the new season and then warmed in the Autumn Sun. Small cluster on reverse side of cup; floral spray around the month's name.  This cup also has the lovely high arc handle.

Royal Ascot Tea Cup - $6.75

The Acorn is a symbol of strength and potential. It is also used as an comfort to those in times of mourning.

The design on the cup's reverse side the single cluster shown on the right hand side of the saucer.

Cup is 3 1/2" wide and just under 2 3/4" tall. Saucer  is 5 5/8" wide

Acorn is a symbol of strength and potential. The strongest oak of the forest is not the one that is protected from the storm and hidden from the sun. It's the one that stands in the open where it is compelled to struggle for existence against the winds and rains and the scorching sun.
