A Diamond Shaped Teapot
|Mason's Ironstone, Friarswood Design-
I purchased this teapot because it was diamond shaped. I had never
seen such a pot. As you can tell, I "paid up" for it but I
wanted you to see it; I thought perhaps you might like it as well.
This transferware teapot is from the 1950's. It has lovely Autumn colors
and would be rather nice at a September Tea.
The teapot is in Very Good Keep
or Gift Condition. No chips, dings, cracks or crazing. I must tell
you that I had a bit of difficulty getting the lid level. I took a photo so you could see
the construction of the lid and its opening. Also if you look in the
third pix down you can see I had a dickens of a time getting it to set
properly. I chose to show you rather than not. Perhaps it's me or maybe
