A Diamond Shaped Teapot

Mason's Ironstone, Friarswood Design- $35.00

I purchased this teapot because it was diamond shaped. I had never seen such a pot. As you can tell, I "paid up" for it but I wanted you to see it; I thought perhaps you might like it as well.

This transferware teapot is from the 1950's. It has lovely Autumn colors and would be rather nice at a September Tea.

The teapot is in Very Good Keep or Gift Condition. No chips, dings, cracks or crazing. I must tell you that I had a bit of difficulty getting the lid level.  I took a photo so you could see the construction of the lid and its opening. Also if you look in the third pix down you can see I had a dickens of a time getting it to set properly. I chose to show you rather than not. Perhaps it's me or maybe the pot.

Impressed, Stamped and Numbered Maker's Marks shown below.

When measured square side to square side the teapot is 6" wide. When measured point to point the teapot is 8" wide. Teapot is 6" tall
