Rescue this Decorative Aluminum Teapot
|Decorative Aluminum Teapot -
Found in Andover, NJ at a street vendor's table. The new handle
reminded me of the Kipling Quip shown below. This is lovely, lovely and
with the handle is in Excellent Keep or Give Condition.
Maker's Mark in last photo.
This teapot is 10 1/2" from spout tip to turn of handle
and about 5" to the knob. Yes, the handle is higher than the knob.
I never make tea in aluminum teapots. Use them for decoration.

'Tis a very sad thing indeed that the man who wrote the Jungle
Book and the Just So Stories - "How the Camel got its
Hump" - couldn't manage a repair on his teapot.
We had a kettle; we let it leak:
Our not repairing made it worse.
We haven't had any tea for a week...
The bottom is out of the Universe.
